First i must tell you that my english is a little poor, sorry

I used dabdig with a german digital tv Magazin (TVGEnial) and GBPVR.

This worked very well.

The problem is that i have to DVB cards(two recording sources).

Dabdig just sends recordings to the first recording source of gbpvr.

After i read the manual of dabdig and in the forum,i understood that dabdigs device steering works just with two or maybe three different programms.I have to tell dabdig my default device, but how about a two dvb sources, like gbpvr uses.

question

Is dabdig able to recognize any recording conflikt management.

If he recognizes conflict management, how to set the recording to the second dvb source of gbpvr.

It would be amazing if there would a possibility to solve this problem

best regards

For some of the software that I schedule into (WinTVCap being an example) it is possible to give it the request and let it work out which device to perform the action on.

I will check to see if there is a way to make GBPVR do the same.

If it can - then it is probably the best solution - if both TV cards have the same source.

The difficulty for DABDig to resolve conflicts is that it does not have a record of what is scheduled for recording or what is planned - it just takes each request and actions it individually.

However, I did start to write some code that stores the details of requests that it has received - with the intention of using it to help resolve conflicts.

Finding the time to finish it is the problem.

In any case - I will do a bit more research around the capabilities of GBPVR and will update here with news.
