I'll have a look - but ... this flag is telling DABDig to wait for ProgDVB to exit after it asks it to exit (for the previous recording).

I added the /Exit call because I found that it helped with consecutive recordings - but I can easily add a new option so that you can disable it and see for yourself.

That would be great if you could the problem is realy with progdvb. When it restarts it shows a settings dialog box which has to be O.K.'ed before any recording can be done.

Ive asked in the progdvb forum of how to fix this but haven had a reply yet.

Cheers.

That is very strange.

That implies to me that it thinks that it is a fresh install.

Perhaps it is because DABDig is running it from a directory other than its usual one.

Try this ...

from the "DOS" prompt

c:

cd "\program files\DigiGuide tv guide"

(modify the above as needed to put you i nthe directory where DABDig is)

then use the example from your dabdig.txt to run ProgDVB

e.g.:

"C:\ProgDVB\ProgDVB.exe" /CH:"Channel 4" /StartRecord:"Z:\\shorttest1.mpg"

then I presume it will take you through the set-up menu again

OK it ...

then use the ProgDVB GUI to perform an orderly exit

If there is no way to make it shutdown then try from command line in the DigiGuide directory

"C:\ProgDVB\ProgDVB.exe" /StopRecord

then try and close it from the ProgDVB GUI

If it still does not work then from memory (I don't use ProgDVBlackeye ... does it create a progdvb.ini file ... if so - perhaps copying it from the c:\ProgDVB directory will fix things.

My guess is that even if I removed the /Exit then it would only help your situation until you next rebooted - so resolving hte real issue (the prompting on start-up) is the key here.

Hi Paul, I tried what you suggested to no avail and still no answer at the progdvb forum.

I wonder if you still have a copy of 2.48b I could try?

Cheers.

I have made a new version of DABDig for you (256b24). It makes the /Exit optional.

I will email it to you.
