Is it possible to get dabbar to save into seperate directories based on the programme that has been recorded i.e. If my root directory is G:\MP3\Radio can I get 'Jammin' to save to G:\MP3\Radio\Jammin and 'Go Digital' to G:\MP3\Radio\Go Digital.

I thought it might be something like:

OUTPUTTARGET=X:\MP3\Radio\$TN

OUTPUTTARGETCREATE=1

... but that doesn't work.

Am I anywhere in the ballpark???

Cheers for a great script!!!

Unfortunately ... that technique only works for devices where I support parameter substitution.

DABBar was the very first device that I supported ... and I hard-coded it. I haven't gone back to it and changed it to use substitution. It won't be too hard to do ... I'll try and get it into version 2.55 before I release it (end August probably).

In the meantime - you could break up the recordings by channel by setting

FileNameStationInPath=1

however, I guess that in your case they are from the same channel.

Another trick that will almost work (you'll get an extra "-" in the name would be to set

FileNameOrder=N\\NDTS

(with 2 "\")

(I don't explicity create the directory though ... DABBar might)
