Hi, Please could you tell me how to record some channels using Line TV and other using CVBS (I have tried making a dabdig.map file and also changing the channel name to CVBS). Also I’ve noticed the “listen using dabdig” does not work – I’ve tried changing “PLAY” in the Alert maker but cant seem to find the right command.

Thanks and thanks for dabdig it made recording TV a doddle and a pleasure.

Smile

For Leadtek WinFast (FM and TV (including selection of S/Video or CVBS source)):

DABDig will attempt to match the EPG channel name with the channel name held by WinFast - if there is no channel number passed from EPG.

If a channel number is past then it is used directly - if the source device is not the standard TV tuner then put an indicator after channel number.

Supported ones are: FM, SVIDEO, and CVBS - e.g. 23/FM means radio channel 23. 123/CVBS means CVBS source (the number is ignored).

Easiest way to test this if you are using DigiGuide

... right-click on a channel icon on the left of the Grid display

... choose Change channel details

... change the channel number from (say) 123 to 123/CVBS

Then schedule recording for something that is about to start on that channel.

DABDig should then be called and it will try to set the Leadtek software to record from CVBS source. Clearly you have to make sure that the source is playing.

Once you have that working then you can dso the same sort of thing via dabdig.map

something like

[Leadtek]

XYZ=123/CVBS

should work

where XYZ is the channel name sent by DigiGuide.

If you set temporarily TraceFlags=4 in dabdig.ini you will get a better idea of what it is doing.

As for why PLAY is not working ... I don't know yet - I'll have to go and look.
