Paul,

I recently modified the dabdig.dgmarker file so that I could alter the duration of recordings in Digiguide. This works great now, but I've lost the ability to record shows with the Series & Episode numbers. Also lost things like saving Programme Descriptions.

In other words, the DABDig marker seems to be out of sync with the dabdig.ini settings file.

Can you help?

Stange. I'll look into it. The two things should not be related. Can you email me your dabdig.txt and dabdig.ini (mail to the address at the top of hte dabdig.ini).

The field names in dabdig.ini that begin with "FileName" and the ones that start "SaveDescription" are the important ones here.

Thanks for the files.

The problem is that you have

SUPPORTDGSCRIPT=1

in your dabdig.ini

This makes DABDig assume that the 11th parameter is the programme category (which is what modern versions of DGScript send) rather than the programme description (which is what DABDig.dgmarker sends).

Just set it back to 0 and all should be well.

That's it, thanks!

Can't remember why I turned that option on?

Sorry to have caused you time & trouble for my silly mistakes!
