Hello,

I'm a german person, so my english is not so good. SORRY

First, "DABDig" is a great program! Thanks

I have any questions about the programming the Winfast scheduler "WFSCHDL".

1. When I programming the scheduler manually, there is a field called "standby-modus after record" or so ("Hibernate"/"Log off"/"Power off"/etc.). Can I set this by using your program dabdig.vbe? This would be very nice!!

2. Another field in the software called "remarks". How can I this fill out/set?

3. Can I delete a scheduled task automatically?

Thanks for your answer.

No need to apologise. It should be me that apologises for not speaking any German.

I did think about supporting that but the problem is ... how will it wake up to record the next one? DABDig doesn't put a wake-up event into Windows (althgouh I do have some experimental code that I could finish and release).

2. Another field in the software called "remarks". How can I this fill out/set?

DABDig will put data in that field ... if it is given something to put there. The problem (if you are using myHTPC) is that I don't think that it passes the programme description data to its plug-ins.

To check ... try this from the command line:

first get a "DOS" prompt

then move to the directory containing the dabdig.ini and dabdig.vbe

- e.g. cd \"program files"\myHTPC

then type:

wscript dabdig.vbe "record" "ARD" "1" "a show title" "2004" "10" "20" "23" "45" "5" "Some descriptive text"

then check the Leadtek schedule.

3. Can I delete a scheduled task automatically?

Sorry - not from within DABDig. However, what are you scheduling from? I suspect it is myHTPC and you set the Just-In-Time flag in myHTPC then the event will be sent to DABDig just before the show starts so you could then cancel the recording from within myHTPC .. i.e. before it is actioned.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer. Smile

Sorry, I'm not used myHTPC, but i use a german EPG, called TVGenial (www.tvgenial.de).

This allowed my to scripped my Leadtek TV card for scheduled programming, and so I need your program. Big Grin

I did think about supporting that but the problem is ... how will it wake up to record the next one? DABDig doesn't put a wake-up event into Windows (althgouh I do have some experimental code that I could finish and release).

The sofware (WFSCHDL?) will wake up the PC from Hibernate/Standby-Modus automatically for the next recording, so this is not the problem (for me Smile). But when it finished, then the PC should be going into the Hibernate.

Yes, so it works correct.

Sorry - not from within DABDig. (delete a record)

What a pity! TVGenial allowed to delete a scheduled record, so that would be very practical.

OK - I'll try and put support in for telling it to sleep.

Note though - it would be a static configuration item, you would not be able to set it per program.

So - if you recorded something while you were using the PC then I guess that the Leadtek software would suspend your PC.
