i set digiguide to record 'the fight' last night. The recording DOES appear in digitv however it shows up as only being 1 second long. Now, the recording is ALL there.. if i drag the digitv player bar to the right i can forward through the programme.. but digitv tells me the program is 1 sec long and as i play the play bar in digitv does not move to the right like it should.

Anyone have any ideas?

You set it in dabdig.ini

What happens if you try to open the recording with Windows Media Player?

Have you set DigiTV to record in DVD-ready format?

See also 3rd-party DigiTV forum posting - which implies that this is a Nebula problem.

ok it happened again - with dr who this time. Nothing was set to record straight after it. Where do i set NebulaDigiTVAllowForceExit 0? It's an annoyance because you have to drag the bar around to navigate through the programme and because you can not tell how much of the recording is left. You CAN still watch the programme though.

Was there another event configured to run afterwards?

Have you set NebulaDigiTVAllowForceExit to 0 (assuming you are using recent Nebula software)?

My reason for saying that I can't see how it is directly caused by DABDig is that all that I do is tell it the start time and duration.

I don't then tell it anything at the end to make it stop ... unless you have seen something different.

hmm - i have to say ive had this happen on 3 occassions - NEVER when using digitv timer (many successful recordings now).. only happens when using the digiguide/dabdig combo as my timer...

Almost 100% certain that this is a Nebula DigiTv issue rather than DigiGuide or DABDig.

If you had another recording set for right at the end of this problem one then it could just about be DABDig issue - but otherwise - there is no way that it is involved with the DigiTV reporting of the duration of a recording.

Which version of DigiTV are you running - I gave up on 3.2

If no-one here is able to help further ... then you might have success over on
