I'm using Digiguide & DabDig to get recordings via a Nebula DigiTV. I don't use it much because TiVo gets most things but it's only got one tuner Frown

I'm trying to set a recording for the F1 Grand Prix, but would like to set an over-run of about 1 hour just in case... I've got default padding set, and was wondering if there was any way of setting programme specific padding (like there is in TiVo...)

This may be down to DigiGuide rather than DabDig - does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Jon.

Glad it worked.

The first field is for Listen/Watch rather than Record hence me suggesting only one change.

You will pobably have seen a few other things you can play with but they are mainly for users with multiple devices. You could also push things to your TiVo via DABDig but I guess that your TiVo is doing a good job by itself.

PS - something's wrong with a timezone somewhere on this server, I've only just edited the above message! (My profile is set to UK...)

Thanks Paul.

Found the setting - it's blnAllowDurationChange normally in "C:\Program Files\DigiGuide TV Guide\user-settings\markers\DABDig.dgmarker"

and there are TWO places to change to true (as stated at the top of the file in the documentation (very commendable...)).

On setting the recording there's a sub menu from record once/daily... to the durations set - works nicely.

Hope the recordings work OK!

Jon.

Yes you can do it.

I haven't documented because of the problem for usrs whn upgrading but ...

dit your DABDig.dgmarker in user-settings with notepad.

Look for the second reference to

set blnAdjustDuration = false;

and set to true

and change the array of durations to include 60

then restart DigiGuide

then when you enter a new scheduled recording it should ask if you want to change the length.

(thi is from memory as I am not at a PC so I might have the variable name wrong)
