I get the error: Problem accessing Leadtek Winfast registry key - tasknum then -Error:0c80070002- I'm using digiguide v8 build 909 a PVR200 leadtek winfast - new card installed today. everything running smoothly otherwise Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. I' not sure if this how it was set-up for you before - but a quick fix would be to reduce the interval between DigiGuide sending the request to DABDig and the start of the programme. In DigiGuide ... Edit/Edit marker type defaults/DABDigR defaults Alert Enable change interval from 10 to 2 or maybe 1 Disable (clear the Enable field) Update Default (at the bottom) DABDig creator I've just had to reformat my C drive due to a nasty virus infection & once again have downloaded & installed the latest version of DabDig. So far everything seems ok, except for what I assume is the playout. I'm using Winfast & have tried both the playin & playout settings at 1 & 0, but it makes no difference - while one program is running, DabDig goes to close the active view window 10 minutes before the next recording is due. I have the Silent Recording option turned off, as I usually like to watch the programme whilst it's recording at the same time. Because of this I can also tell that although the sound continues to run, the video disappears to the taskbar for the next 10 mins, when the scheduled recording is due to start, when it starts up fine, and although the sound may still be heard to be active for those 10 mins, when checking the recorded file, that also proves to have finished at the moment the video screen disappeared. How do I get it to shut down, say, no more than 30secs - 1 min before another recording is due? OK. I'll update the FAQ and the software to suggest scheduling something. I guess that most people started using the default scheduler from Leadtek before discovering my stuff so they tended not to hit the problem. DABDig creator Sorry, I was working with a fresh install of winfast. A manually created (blank) WFSCHDL.dat will not work. It seems we'll need to actually add one schedule from the winfast program first (so it can create its own WFSCHDL.dat) cheers, Paul. Hello, I also get the error: Problem accessing Leadtek Winfast registry key - tasknum and setting: LeadtekSchedToFile=1 in dabdig.ini gives me a: could not find,,, WFSCHDL.dat I do have a file named: WFSCHDL.exe should I enter that name instead of the dat extention - or what about creating a WFSCHDL.dat ? Thanks Paul. Markus, Are you saying that you get "Problem accessing Leadtek Winfast registry key - tasknum" reported as the error regardless of the setting of the SchedToFile setting? If so - that seems very odd. Is there a chance that there is more than one dabdig.ini on your machine? (are you using DigiGuide or something else as your EPG?) DABDig creator Edited by Paul Webster on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 - 6:24:15 PM I have the same problem. It doesn't mather if LeadtekSchedToFile is 1 or 0 for me. There are various different versions of the Leadtek software floating around. Try setting LeadtekSchedToFile=1 in your dabdig.ini See http://www.spidersweb.freeserve.co.uk/dab/dabdig.htm#FAQLeadtek for more background. (Also - your email address appears not to be replyable so the alert that you requested will not arrive) DABDig creator Edited by Paul Webster on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 5:18:42 AMmatt FourPart Paul Webster
