Hi,

Only just got the Nebula USB box yesterday. The main use I have for it is as a PVR on my media server sat in the corner of the room.

I was having a look at this software and have installed it on my main machine (not the server).

The problem I have is that I want it to communicate to the remote installation of digitv on the media server.

For some reason it still insists on trying to contact the local machine (main PC) when it goes to the web page to set the timers...

I have been through the config file and made sure that the web part points to the server with the correct IP address and also changed any instances of localhost to the server's IP.... still no joy.

The only thing I havn't done yet is to remove the digitv client from the main PC and see if that cures it. The other alternative I have is to run the software and digiguide on the media server, but this requires me to remote desktop in etc... which I was hoping to avoid..

Cheers

Did you set

NEBULADIGITVWEBSCHED=1

If you have done that and it still doesn't work then please set

TraceFlags=4

retest

and send me the dabdig.txt (you can reset to traceflags=0 after testing)

I must admit that I haven't really tried the web scheduling to the Nebula software for a long long time - so there might be a problem that I had not spottted.

Thanks for the reply Paul... I am off on Hols for the Bank Holiday, so I shall give it a go when I return.

Cheers....
