Hey all. I recently bought a WinFast DTV1000 to watch and record shows on my PC. Picture is great. If im watching a channel and hit the record button it works fine.

But if i set up a time and channel to record, it doesnt work correctly. I tested it out by putting it on for a few minutes and it kept saving the files as 2 seconds files constantly, and i had loads of them. I duno how to fix it.

Any help would be great.

Edited the subject to show which particular device this is for

I don't have support for that one yet - but I did start on it with someone who was upgrading from an analogue WinFast card. We paused at the point where the entries ging into the schedule seemed right but it still would not work.

I'd be happy to try and get further - email me and I'll reply with the beta and sone instructions.

Thanks but....

I got it working. I started reading the instructions because i wanted to know if i could rearrange my channel order because its all over the place...and came across the settings for recording. I was using the default settings which should work, i looked at the picture in the manual and the settings were slightly different so i changed mine to the same, and it worked. Strange how the default doesnt work.

Anyways, dont suppose you know if its possible to rearrange the channels? Also some of them dont come with the logo on the guide....just wondering if you can save an image file and use that somehow?

Thanks

Smile

Interesting.

Can you send me a copy of your working dabdig.ini and tell me the version number of your WinFast software?

I'll then pas it over to the other person who was trying to get his to work and see if he can repeat it.

Ah - perhaps you are not using it with DABDig at all ... but happened across this forum because it mentions Leadtek WinFast ... and your issues were with the native Leadtek software.
